ECMA 2024 to kick off with an Opening Night Concert starring The East Pointers, The Once and Two Hours Traffic in Charlottetown, May 1

(Halifax, NS) – The East Coast Music Association will kick off ECMA 2024 with an Opening Night Concert, presented by Atlantic Lottery in partnership with Noisemaker Management and starring PEI’s pop-folk duo The East Pointers, Newfoundland’s roots-folk trio The Once, and PEI’s pop-rock group Two Hours Traffic. The show will take place at the Prince Edward Confederation Ballroom at the Delta Prince Edward in Charlottetown on Wednesday, May 1 at 8 p.m.

“At Atlantic Lottery, we believe in celebrating all the things that make our region so unique and I can think of no better way to celebrate Atlantic Canada than by supporting all of the incredible artists we have right here on the East Coast,” said Patrick Daigle, Atlantic Lottery President and CEO. “We’re thrilled to be back as presenting sponsor of the Opening Party again this year in order to help kick off what is sure to be an incredible week of music and culture.”

A limited number of tickets for the Opening Night Concert are on sale now.

Tickets are $40 (plus taxes and fees) and can be purchased HERE. The Opening Night Concert is a separate ticketed event and is not included with the ECMA Festival Pass.

“The ECMAs are coming back to our beautiful Charlottetown and it will be BUZZING,” said Jake Charron with The East Pointers. “We’ll be playing a show with some of our favs to kick off the week, see yas there (or here!).”
